    The New York City Area Alumnae was charted in December 2007 after a need to bring NYC area alumnae together. NYCAA annually participates and supports the Revlon Run/Walk, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and New York Cares Day. We also support our national philanthropy Camp Friendship. NYCAA is a member of the New York City Alumnae Panhellenic Association, affiliated with National Panhellenic Conference. Some activities that NYCAA hosts are local alumnae happy hours, barbeques, outings in New York City such as the Rockefeller Christmas Tree and Founder’s Day in the spring. NYCAA supports its local chapters Alpha Epsilon, Beta Alpha, Gamma Eta and Gamma Pi.

    President’s Message

    Welcome to our new site!  We are so excited to offer all of our New York City alumnae the opportunity to stay involved with Theta Phi Alpha.  This site will allow us a way to stay in contact with our local sisters about all upcoming events in the area.  We also encourage everyone to send in any information that you would like to see posted!  Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity has celebrated 98 years of sisterhood.  We are unique and our founders chose our values at a time when women had much to overcome.  Our values are what sets us apart and upholding the highest ideals of Theta Phi Alpha is what has continued to make us grow so strong.  It is my hope that we can strengthen and expand the bonds of sisterhood that we are all a part of.
